A controversial TV weather girl better known for her skimpy outfits and her FF-size chest than her forecasts is planning a new career - as a politician representing the rights of the elderly.
Larissa Sladkova is planning to stand as a candidate in regional government elections in the city of Chelyabinsk in south-central Russia's Chelyabinsk Oblast region.
The curvaceous blonde hopes to stand as a candidate for the Russian Party of Pensioners in the Metallurgicheskiy voting district of the city.

Her name is on a list of proposed candidates sent off by the party's Chelyabinsk branch for the approval of national leaders in Moscow.
Ms Sladkova said: 'I am a person like anyone else. Why can't I do politics? I have all the right skills for it.
'I am smart enough and my weather forecasts don't mean anything.'
Ms Sladkova explained that she had chosen the Russian Party of Pensioners because she wanted to defend the rights of the elderly.

'And in the current cold climate, everybody is dreaming about a hot place, where temperatures never go below zero.'
The news of her sudden and unexpected planned career change has sparked debate on social media and internet forums.
